01 Oct 2024To report several stunting in Indonesia over the past year, the Vice President's Secretariat (Setwapres) held a National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) on Stunting by inviting elements of the central government, provincial and district/city governments, development partners, business partners, non-governmental organizations, and universities, as well as other stakeholders.
The meeting led by KH Ma'ruf Amin as Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and Chair of the Steering Committee for the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction (TPPS) said that over the past five years the prevalence of stunting has decreased by 9.3% or an average of 1.85% from 2018-2023. He added that the decline in stunting was one and a half times faster than the period 2013-2018.

The results of hard work, efforts, and collaboration carried out by all parties will have a major impact on future generations. He hopes that the handling of stunting in the next government can be improved even better.
In line with this, the National Coordination Meeting held at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta also invited ZeroStunting to discuss the program to accelerate stunting reduction at the national level on September 4-5, 2024. Having the opportunity to attend the annual event, ZeroStunting opened a booth to demonstrate the 1 Day 1 Egg program and the release of the zerostunting.com donation website.
Showing as a stunting management program based on nutrition and agriculture, ZeroStunting uses eggs as an intervention tool that is easily accessible with affordable price to improve the nutrition of stunted children. Before expanding to unaffected areas, ZeroStunting officially launched the zerostunting.com website as a fundraising platform for improving the nutrition of stunted children. Starting from 3 areas with fairly high stunting rates in Subang, Sukabumi, and Marunda, it can encourage other areas to become part of the ZeroStunting program.

Before visitors play the spin wheel, visitors should donate a minimum of Rp20.000 via the QR Code displayed on the booth banner.
