Pak Dayat: An AI-Based Agricultural Assistant Supporting Indonesian Farmers
28 Jan 2026Farmers often face various challenges in the field, ranging from pest and disease attacks and fertilization errors to unpredictable weather conditions. At the same time, not all issues can be immediately consulted with agricultural extension officers.
To help address these needs, Pak Dayat is introduced as an AI-based agricultural assistant that can be accessed via WhatsApp. Pak Dayat is developed by Edufarmers, with support from Google.org, as part of an agricultural education program to support Indonesian farmers in accessing initial information quickly and easily.
What Is Pak Dayat?
