Edufarmers Supports Stunting Prevention Program at Marunda Festival Through #1Day1Egg Campaign

29 Jul 2025

Jakarta, July 27, 2025 – The 2025 Marunda Festival was successfully held at Rusunawa Marunda, Marunda Sub-district, Cilincing District, North Jakarta. This event marked an important moment with the inauguration of the Ruang Bersama Indonesia Marunda, the celebration of National Children’s Day, and the lead-up to Jakarta’s 500th anniversary.

Coinciding with National Children’s Day, a stunting prevention program was officially launched to support the healthy growth and development of Jakarta’s children so they can thrive and achieve. Edufarmers, an organization committed to stunting prevention, was invited to take part in the launch of this program.

Through the #ZeroStunting initiative, Edufarmers is running the #1Day1Egg campaign, which promotes the consumption of animal-based protein in the form of eggs as a simple yet effective step to improve children’s nutrition. The campaign invites the public, especially parents living in Rusunawa Marunda  to give #1Day1Egg to their children as an accessible form of nutritional intervention.

Previously, Edufarmers had distributed 300 eggs to children in Marunda as part of its early efforts to prevent stunting in the area. This distribution reflects the organization’s concrete commitment to supporting children’s health by improving access to nutritious food.

The ZeroStunting program itself focuses on nutrition education, egg distribution, and the monitoring of child growth through a data-driven and community-based empowerment approach.

“On behalf of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, I would like to express appreciation to everyone who contributed and collaborated to make today’s Marunda Festival a success. We remain committed to making Jakarta a child- and women-friendly city,” he said.

“Thank you to all parties who supported this event, whether through funding, facilities, or manpower,” added Kelik Indriyanto, Head of the Jakarta Housing and Settlement Areas Office.

Through its presence and involvement in the Marunda Festival, Edufarmers reaffirms its commitment to being a part of the Indonesia #ZeroStunting movement.

Every small step we take can make a big difference in their future.

Together, let’s make Indonesia #ZeroStunting.
