Registration for Bertani Untuk Negeri 8 are Open Now for Agriculture Student!

30 Nov 2023

The agricultural industry, which plays an important part in human life, has a lot of potential for improvement and development. A country's food security reflects the quality of its human resources, particularly in Indonesia, one of the world's largest agrarian countries. Therefore, Edufarmers has launched its 8th Bertani Untuk Negeri (Farming for the Nation 8) program to improve food security in Indonesia through the younger generation.

Bertani Untuk Negeri is an internship program by Edufarmers in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, aimed at active students in agricultural, plantation, and related disciplines. The goal is to enhance their skills and competencies in the field of agriculture through hands-on practices in the field, with the hope that the experiences gained during the program will serve as a foundation for their future careers.

With a six-month internship duration, students are not only invited to experience the field atmosphere but also encouraged to become agents of change. This program is about more than just planting seeds; it is about nurturing and developing the talents of young individuals to be at the forefront of future food security.

Currently, in addition to opening Farmers Development Associates (FDAs) positions for agricultural commodities, in this batch, the program also introduces a new role as a project specialist for the Cocoa Development Program to enhance the cocoa industry in Indonesia.
