Homecoming Talkshow & Stunting Charity Puteri Indonesia 2023: Encouraging Awareness and Action to Overcome Stunting

June 2023 – Edu Farmers International Foundation (Edufarmers) together with Puteri Indonesia Foundation and Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung successfully held Homecoming Talkshow & Stunting Charity Puteri Indonesia 2023 on 17 June 2023. This event marks a significant step towards stunting prevention and increasing public understanding and awareness of this issue in Indonesia, particularly in West Java.

The event brought together Edufarmers, Puteri Indonesia Foundation, RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin (RSHS) Bandung, and other knowledgeable sources. Homecoming Talkshow & Stunting Charity Puteri Indonesia 2023 were attended by Chairperson of the Indonesian Puteri Foundation, Prof. Dr. Wardiman Djojonegoro and Prof. Dr. Dida Akhmad Gurnida, dr. Sp.A(k)., M.Kes as Head of the Stunting Task Force at Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung. In her speech, Farhana Nariswari, S.Ked - Puteri Indonesia 2023 gave a significant contribution in conveying a message about the importance of stunting prevention and building sustainable health development. The pediatric nutritionist from RSHS also gave a detailed explanation of concrete steps that can be taken to prevent stunting, while Amri Ilmma, COO of Edufarmers, explained about One Day One Egg as an initiative to increase children's nutritional intake by increasing egg consumption.

"This is our concern as part of Puteri Indonesia Foundation and PT Mustika Ratu Tbk to increase awareness of nutrition, health and education among the public regarding the stunting problem in Indonesia," Farhana said.

Edu Farmers International Foundation and Mustika Ratu also distributed charity goodie bags to participants with the aim of supporting acceleration of stunting reduction in Indonesia and raising parents' awareness about the importance of stunting prevention for toddlers.

"We are grateful to be involved in the Homecoming Talkshow & Stunting Charity Puteri Indonesia 2023. Through this event, we aim to provide comprehensive education about stunting and encourage all stakeholders to actively participate in stunting prevention," said Amri Ilmma, COO of Edufarmers.

With around 50 participants, the Homecoming Talkshow & Stunting Charity Puteri Indonesia 2023 provided an opportunity for attendees and speakers to interact, share knowledge, and collectively take concrete steps to promote positive changes in society for stunting prevention. By fostering synergy between the public, private, and community sectors, comprehensive measures can be implemented to address the issue of stunting effectively.
