Edufarmers Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2015 to accelerate the development of Indonesian farmers and youths.
The agriculture sector is playing an essential role in improving the living standards of all people. However, people tend to overlook agriculture issues in Indonesia. Farmers face more significant challenges each year, such as increasing productivity, climate change, & global competition. We believe that continuous effort to increase farmers’ productivity through education is the way to improve their livelihood.

Chief Executive Officer / CEO
Yahja brings more than 30 years of experience working in poultry, livestock and agriculture sectors in Indonesia. Prior to the role, he was Chief Executive Officer of PT. Ciomas Adisatwa, a leading poultry producer in Indonesia. Yahja also had experience leading agriculture projects across Indonesia. He holds a bachelor degree in animal science from Brawijaya University
Chief Operating Officer / COO
Amri is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Foundation, from support service to program delivery. Prior to his role, Amri led social education impact programs across Indonesia in one of the best Edutech startups and was an adviser to the special staff of the President of Indonesia, brings almost a decade of experience in international development, public policy, economics, education, and agricultural sustainability to the table. Amri holds an MPA in International Development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Indonesia.
Ignatius Egan Jonathan
Head of Product
Egan is currently serving as Head of Product at Edufarmers Foundation, responsible for designing and evaluating of various programs of the Foundation. Before working at the Foundation, he was a Business Analyst at BCG and Special Project Analyst at STOQO. He specializes in problem solving, operations improvement, and project management in agriculture field. He enjoys solving complex real-world problem in structured way and utilizing his capability to do impactful and meaningful work that could improve other people's livelihood. Egan holds Bachelor of Business from Prasetya Mulya University.
